Quality Control using High Speed Cameras
• Unilever was facing issues in quality control as the defected products were entering in market. The issues included open seal, panel out, expiry date and price missing, disfigured products etc. It was very hard to manually check products individually as each production line produces thousands of products daily. To increase the quality we added automated vision control system.
- This system monitors each product through high speed cameras and compares it to the standard which is already stored in system. If that product is different by defined percentage compared to the standard then the system separates that defected product from the good ones. This system highly increases production speed and quality of products.
