Ship Monitoring & Alarm System

Introduction

Ship Monitoring & Alarm System by CrestPak of Marine is designed for the continuous monitoring of ship’s machinery status, parameter, generating alarms, performing safety trips, data logging of parameters, viewing reports and printing of reports. This system is monitoring SSDGS, Main Engines, Gear Box, and Engine Order Telegraph. The main parameters and status being monitored are temperatures, pressures and RPM

Implementation

The Monitoring & Alarm System is designed to display the monitoring at 4 locations, Local Safety Panel displays all the safety indications & master fault of SSDGs, Main Engines & Reduction Gears. In machinery room an isolated cabin is made, in which Monitoring & Alarm Console is installed which displays all the parameters, statuses & alarm of SSDGs & Main Engines. 22” color graphic display within a Monitoring & Alarm Console which displays all the parameters, statuses, alarms, trips, safeties, data logging, viewing and maintaining reports with printing facility.

15” color graphic display provided in MEO cabin to display all the parameters with digital & analog guages, statuses, alarm indications, trips indications & alarm history

15” color graphic display provided on Wheel House all the parameters with digital & analog guages, statuses, alarm indications, trips indications & alarm history.

To provide system voltage regulation, frequency regulation, overcome the power interruption & power line filtration against surges, spikes, fluctuation, noise and harmonics a dedicated power backup of online UPS installed in Monitoring & Alarm Console Cabin.
